NOVEMBER 25, 2019:  National Catholic Society of Foresters’ (NCSF) Soul Connection Impact Team 1255 will be collecting canned food donations for St. Raymond de Penafort’s Backpack Ministry for Giving Tuesday!

On Monday though Friday, from December 2 to December 13, 2019 at 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., NCSF will gladly accept all canned chili, soup, stew, fruits, vegetables, meats, and fish at their Home Office, 320 S. School St., in Mount Prospect. Standard size cans are best, no larger than 15 oz. All brands and varieties accepted.

Thank you so much for your support!

The Backpack Ministry delivers up to 50 bags of food each week to local students in need.  The food in their backpacks help bridge the gap over the weekend when some families struggle and they don’t have enough to eat.  By providing extra meals and snacks, these students are ready to learn on Monday – nourished and healthy.
