#LOOKINGOUT A Soup-er Success: Mantador, ND Fundraiser Delivers over $3,000 for the Food Pantry

St. Mary Magdalen Impact Team 117, Mantador, ND sponsored a Soup-er Bowl Hearts and Hands fundraiser on February 8. The Impact Team collected 69 pounds of food and raised $1,745 for the Richland/Wilkin County Food Pantry. 1891 Financial Life matched $1,500. The Impact Team President, JoAnne Jentz, said, “It feels so good to come together + provide assistance to people struggling to have food to eat.”
About Richland Wilkin County Food Pantry
The Richland Wilkin Emergency Food Pantry provides an emergency food supply to those residents in need in the 20 towns and rural areas of Richland County, North Dakota and Wilkin Country, Minnesota. Whether it’s a family crisis, medical problems, loss of a job or other difficult situations, the RW Emergency Food Pantry can assist with wholesome food during those times of need. Their programs include the Walk-in Pantry in Wahpeton, the Mobile Pantry that visits four rural communities, and the Backpack Program that supplies food to hungry school students.
